Countdown

Who would of thought I'm almost done with my first semster of college?  Wow!  I am ready for a break though I must admit.  There was a new development today.  The door to my hall and lobby where fixed so that all I have to do is press a button to open them...that is very cool. Now, if I could just get something like that on the door to my room.  I would love to be able to get into my room independently.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow because, our senate simulation is taking place.   I mentioned it in an eariler blog that it would be good pratice for what I want to persue as a career.  So, that should be interesting.  After the Thanksgiving Hoilday it's crunch time one week left.  If anybody has any good  tips on how to study for finals let me know.  I want to be prepared and not get too stressed about them!

Winging It!

Hey Guys

I can't really think of a particular topic to discuss so I'm just going to talk about this week.  I got all of my stress out the way, I can breathe again.  So, I'm laid back, and now all I have to do is to research Arland Spector for a senate simulation which I am actually looking forward to anyway.  I think it will be good practice for me considering that I want to do this type of thing for my career.  Guys keep sending me ideas so I will have something to talk about next time.

I Just Wish I Could Make A Fist

Like any other person I have stress.  I have to write a ten page book report for Tuesday. That's six days away.  Also, for Economics I have a group project due before we get out for Thanksgiving break, we just started.  In Government I have to research for a senate simulation and write a bill.  My problem is I can't find any stress relievers due to my disability.  I can't punch any thing because I have crooked fingers.  Well, I could play football on my 360 but, as you all know I tend to get too excited and break things.  Having a disability and being a hyperactive person can make you wired! I'm open to any outputs of stress.

Ghost In My Joystick

I think a ghost followed me back to Starkville because last night I plugged in my chair like normal and the lights were on and charging so, I thought I was good to go.  I got up this morning ,but when my attendant tried to turn on my chair no light appeared.  So I called my mom and got my mom to text me the number of our wheelchair repair guy in Birmingham..  I called him and explain what was going on, but he couldn't help me without seeing it.  So I called the T.K. Martin Center, the guy came and looked at my chair and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so he took it to a shop in Starkville.  Turns out my joystick is fried which I find weird because it worked fine last night.  So today I've laid here in bed bored out my mind with no way to get up and out!  I am hoping that tomorrow my chair will be fixed. If not I will be missing some classes.
